I was flipping through channels tonight and one of the big stories right now is Prince Harry being sent to Iraq. Kind of concerning is the fact that insurgents are already sending out messages that they're going to target him and the media is all up in arms about this. Look, he wants to go, he's apparently a good soldier, and this is what he has been trained to do. Yes, he also happens to be third in line for the throne behind Charles and William, but Harry himself has said countless times now that he wouldn't have gone to Sandhurst if this was not what he wanted to do. I love how the media always thinks they know best.
And by the way, I always thought Harry was kind of the homely one and was going to take after Charles, while William was the lucky one and seemed to take after Diana. I must say, however, that since he's grown up, Harry is quite delicious now too. Thank goodness neither have really taken after Charles in their later years.

I totally agree with everything you just said. It's Harry's life, and so far, Charles isn't even king yet, so what makes them think that Harry's going to get the chance? This will be a great way for him to serve his country in a totally different way than what his father and brother will probably have to do...
And yes, Harry has grown up quite nicely as well. There are times I might say that he's better looking than Will, but then I slap myself and realize who I'm talking about!
I know. I understand it's a big deal since he's a prince and all, but he's a good soldier and dude, he's not going to be king unless something happens to William anyway, so let him do what he wants. He always been in William's shadow because he's the younger one, so let him leave his mark this way instead. War is war and yes it sucks and soldiers are going to die, but I think it's silly that people here are suggesting that if soldiers from his unit are killed, the families might sue the royal family because Harry 'endangered' their sons. Um, hello, war is dangerous whether you have a prince among you or not. And the US is so sue-crazy anyway, that we think it will solve everything. Other nations are not like that at all. And would you really want to take Queen Elizabeth to court? I think not.
Not gonna lie, I'd probably try and sue the Queen just so I could stand the chance of being close to Will or Harry :)
